How to make a battle video with OrbWar

A practical workflow for turning an automatic arena match into a vertical video for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.

1. Choose a clear matchup

Decide what the viewer should understand in the first few seconds. A countryball rivalry asks which flag will survive. A color match gives the audience a simple favorite. A monster challenge asks whether the fighters can defeat one powerful opponent.

Write one opening question before building the match. For example: “Can Canada survive this arena?” or “Can seven fighters defeat the kraken?” These are story prompts. The simulation decides the result, so avoid announcing a winner before the recording exists.

A small cast is easier to follow on a phone. Five to seven fighters provide several possible outcomes without requiring viewers to track too many names. Read more about countryball matchups or monster challenges.

2. Set up the battle

Open the OrbWar studio. Choose the fighter style, edit competitors and select the battle mode. Classic battles can be tried with the free allowance; monster mode requires an active Unlimited subscription.

Review the controls for weapon mix, arena atmosphere, movement speed and visual quality. Pick settings that support the idea rather than changing everything at once. A recognizable cast and a readable arena matter more than the largest possible number of effects.

On mobile or an older computer, try automatic or lightweight graphics. If you use sound, confirm the browser can play it before recording. Some browsers require interaction with the page before audio starts.

3. Record, preview and download

Use the recording control to start the match. A battle start uses one free slot even if you do not record it. Downloading an already recorded result again does not consume another slot.

Keep recording through the final result. When the preview opens, watch the whole video before downloading. Check that the beginning is present, audio is audible and the ending has not been cut off.

The download format depends on browser support. The available container is shown in the recording interface. If a platform does not accept your file, convert the downloaded copy in a video editor that supports that platform. Test the workflow on your device before making many videos.

4. Add a product ending when relevant

With Unlimited, open the product-ending controls before recording. Add a square product image if you have one, enter a short product name and supply the store address. Preview the ending so the text is readable at phone size.

The store address is rendered into the video as visible text. It is not a clickable link inside the footage. Add your destination separately in a caption, profile or other placement supported by the platform, and use any required advertising disclosure.

5. Give the footage your own edit and publish it

Use a concise opening caption, preserve important health and flag information and leave room for the final winner. Use music you have permission to publish. Avoid repeating exactly the same caption, matchup and edit for every post.

Upload the finished video yourself. OrbWar does not connect to social accounts or schedule uploads. Review your platform's originality, advertising and monetization rules; permission to use OrbWar footage does not guarantee reach or monetization.

Before you press publish

  • The matchup and opening question are understandable.
  • Important fighters and health indicators fit in the frame.
  • The video has intentional sound or an intentional silent edit.
  • The complete result and any product ending are visible.
  • You have rights to outside music, logos and uploaded images.
  • You have watched the downloaded file on the device where you will upload it.

Free recordings retain the OrbWar watermark. See plans and allowances for the $4.99/month Unlimited subscription, and read the creator license for commercial-use permission.
